We work to uplift and empower people with disabilities through inclusive education, vocational training, and community support. we advocate for equal rights, accessibility, and opportunities, ensuring that individuals with disabilities can live with dignity and independence. By partnering with local communities, governments, and donors, we creates programs that break down barriers and promote a more inclusive society for all
We support the elderly persons by promoting their well-being, dignity, and active participation in society We Partner with other Partners that offers services such as home-based care, medical support, social activities, and counseling to ensure that senior citizens are not isolated or neglected By partnering with local communities, governments, and donors to create age-friendly environments where all People can thrive
We are committed to supporting survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through comprehensive care and empowerment programs. Together with our Partners we provides safe shelters, trauma counseling, legal aid, and skills training to help survivors rebuild their lives. We also raises awareness in communities to prevent GBV and advocates for stronger policies to protect victims and hold perpetrators accountable.
Sawa community sustainable development-Yumbe is a woman led community-based organization with registration number YTC/000954 at district level and 80034051213994 with URSB.the organization works with the most vulnerable groups in Yumbe District such as the Youth,child mothers, women in Uganda force, widows, women with disabilities and women living with HIV/AIDS, the elderly persons, orphans and vulnerable children in giving support and enabling them to enjoy their human rights and lead dignified lives.
