Sawa community sustainable development-Yumbe is a woman led community-based organization with registration number YTC/000954 at district level and 80034051213994 with URSB.the organization works with the most vulnerable groups in Yumbe District such as the Youth,child mothers, women in Uganda force, widows, women with disabilities and women living with HIV/AIDS, the elderly persons, orphans and vulnerable children in giving support and enabling them to enjoy their human rights and lead dignified lives The organization was formed by the member board of 7women and 3men whose mandate is to operate in Yumbe district and other areas in west Nile region to enhance the capacity of rural communities through empowerment, fostering sustainable development in multifaceted approaches to the latest interventions made to address the current situation in Yumbe district, in West Nile sub- region that emanates in sectors of Education, Health, protection, livelihood, Governance and environment. The management of the organization is governed by executive director who is being supported by program coordinator, the project officer, monitoring and evaluation specialist, finance and Administration to implement all the project activities of sawa community sustainable development.
